How it works

Scan. Tailor. Apply.

1

It scans your hardware

GPU, iGPU, CPU, RAM channels, drive type, Windows build. It also asks one question: laptop or PC? It can detect it, but you confirm.

2

It tailors the list

Tweaks that don't fit your setup are hidden. Laptops get cooling-first rules that fight thermal throttling, PCs go all the way. Safe ones are marked for you.

3

You hit Optimize

A restore point is made, tweaks are applied and checked one by one, and you can undo any of it later.

Laptop or PC

It asks one question: laptop or PC?

Voltvane can detect it, but you confirm. The answer changes which tweaks you get.

Laptop

Heat is what throttles a laptop, so Voltvane fights heat first and never touches battery behaviour.

  • Active cooling: fan before throttle (plugged in)
  • Best-performance power mode on the charger
  • Adaptive brightness off while plugged in
  • Optional: lid close does nothing for docked gaming
  • Hibernate, timer and Ultimate-plan tweaks hidden

Desktop PC

No battery to protect, so it goes harder.

  • Ultimate Performance power plan
  • No core parking, no CPU idle-state delays (optional)
  • SATA link power saving off
  • Dynamic tick off, HPET left unforced
  • Laptop cooling and lid tweaks hidden
Installer and updates

A real installer. And it updates itself.

Download VoltvaneSetup.exe, pick a folder, done. It adds Start menu and Desktop shortcuts and shows up in Add or remove programs, with an uninstaller that can put your settings back.

Installing

  • Animated setup, about 10 seconds
  • Installs to Program Files (you can change it)
  • Uninstall can revert every tweak first

Updating

  • Checks this site every few minutes
  • A different build here means a prompt in the app
  • File hash is verified before it swaps in
